Flooring at trade fairs, exhibitions, shows or events are used very intensely during a short period of time. This implies special requirements on the flooring. This challenge will be satisfied by our flooring and special underlays for installation.

AKO Elastic B1

The AKO Elastic B1 is a fire-resistant, high-quality insulating underlay.

  • High-quality underlay for wall-to-wall carpets in public buildings, hotels and other high-traffic areas.
  • Excellent walking comfort with impact sound and thermal insulation.
  • Helps extend the life of wall-to-wall carpets.
  • Fire retardant to DIN EN 13501-1, Class Bfl-s1.
  • Polyester and glass-fibre yarn coated on both sides with special PVC foam.
  • Suitable for underfloor heating.
  • Improved insulation: 1/λ = 0,05 m² K/W (2.5mm) and 1/λ = 0,09 m² K/W (4.5mm)
  • Sound insulation: 19db (2.5mm) and 29db (4.5mm)

AKO Adhesive Grid

High-quality grid for temporary fixing of carpets, laminate or wood flooring over existing floor coverings.

  • Suitable for carpet-on-carpet and flooring-on-hard-floor applications.
  • Water-soluble acrylic resin on a polyester and glass-yarn grid.
  • Removes cleanly without leaving residue on the underlying floor.
  • Supplied with a single protective foil for rapid installation.
  • Standard (7mm Grid) and Strong (5mm Grid with single-side protective film) options.

Sizes: 1m roll x 50m with single side protective film.
Not suitable for laying of carpets, wall-to-wall carpets, barrier mats on PVC flooring or laying of flooring with backings containing a softener.
