Rug Underlay Perfect for Hard or Smooth Flooring

AKO carpet underlays for hard flooring are coated on both sides with a special PVC-foam. Plain underlay provides a high walking comfort as well as an impact sound insulation. All underlays can simply be cut with scissors and are easy to lay, washable up to 60°C, and are suitable for heated flooring.

All PVC rug underlays like: AKO EXTRA, AKO PROFILO, AKO EXACT, AKO APART, AKO ELASTIC etc. are NOT suitable for the vinyl floor tiles. We do recommend using instead AKO TOP FLEECE II Top Fleece II suitable for the vinyl floor tiles or AKO EXACT YELLOW Exact Yellow suitable for the vinyl floor tiles.

Anti-slip underlay for barrier and entrance mats on smooth and hard floors.

  • Suitable for PVC- and nitrile-backed mats.
  • Safe for delicate flooring, including vinyl, linoleum and treated wood.
  • Special acrylic coating helps prevent reactions with treated flooring.
  • Close-meshed, dimensionally stable grid structure.
  • Special coating on both sides for reliable grip.

*Machine washable products should be washed with water only. Do not use soap or washing detergents.

Important note about our products: if the flooring is treated with water-based lacquers, allow at least 3 months full drying time before using any of our products. Only suitable for floorings treated with solvent-free sealants. No adhesion when wet.
